Once upon a time, on February 14, 2020, a unique vegan fast food shop named “iGoVegan” opened its doors in Birmingham. Its founders, Danny and Julien, had a passion for compassionate eating and a deep belief in the power of plant-based food to create positive change. From the beginning, iGoVegan captured the hearts and taste buds of the community. People flocked to the shop, eager to experience the unique flavours and innovative recipes that set iGoVegan apart. It quickly gained a reputation as the go-to destination for 100% vegan fast food in the West Midlands.

However, after only three weeks of operation, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, forcing iGoVegan to temporarily close due to government restrictions. Despite the setback, Danny and Julien’s commitment to their community remained unwavering. They decided to reopen on weekends, focusing on delivery and collections to serve those in need during challenging times.

Through partnerships with delivery platforms like Deliveroo, Uber, and JustEat, iGoVegan continued to provide its mouthwatering creations to customers’ doorsteps. Even during the most difficult times, the shop remained resilient, offering a ray of culinary delight and compassion amid uncertainty.

As the months went by and restrictions eased, iGoVegan reopened its small shop in September. The demand for its unique taste and 100% vegan menu remained strong. People appreciated the commitment to quality, the ethical choices, and the remarkable flavours that iGoVegan brought to their meals.

Sadly, in March 2022, Julien decided to part ways with iGoVegan, but Danny’s unwavering belief in their mission and the support of the loyal customer base kept the business running smoothly. Danny’s dedication and love for iGoVegan ensured that it continued to thrive and make a difference in people’s lives.

As the years passed, iGoVegan faced its fair share of challenges, but iGoVegan remained determined to evolve and provide an even better experience for our customers. In response to popular demand, the next step for iGoVegan is to find a new location that would allow it to offer a dine-in experience. Listening to their customers’ desires, I embarked on a quest to find a new space where people could not only enjoy the delicious food but also savour the ambience and community of iGoVegan. The search for a suitable location became an exciting new chapter in the iGoVegan story.

With each passing day, iGoVegan continued to inspire and delight people with its extraordinary food, unique recipes, and commitment to a cruelty-free lifestyle. My determination and the love and support of the community ensured that iGoVegan would always remain a beacon of vegan culinary excellence in the West Midlands and beyond.

And so, the story of iGoVegan, filled with resilience, compassion, and pursuit of culinary perfection, continues to unfold, leaving a lasting impact on the hearts, minds, and taste buds of all those who encounter its extraordinary flavours.
